Fathers, they teach us everything from how to ride a bicycle to doing our taxes.
We owe a lot to the head honchos in our lives, so we wanted to share what makes our dads special!
Andrew – My Dad worked really hard to support our family and is our rock. He introduced me to being a huge sports fan by watching our San Francisco 49ers and Giants. He was also a monthly subscriber to a CD club and introduced me to all types of music. My love and knowledge of music stems from him.
Fatima – My dad is honestly the funniest person I know. If social media was a thing while he was in his 20s, he definitely could have been an influencer. Thanks for the jokes big man.
Kelly – One of my favorite things about myself is being my dad’s daughter. He taught me what the woods sounds like at 4 AM before the world wakes up, and what being there can do for your self. He taught me how to appreciate life and the lives of everything around you. He taught me to be calm, and to be strong, and to make sure that every choice I make is the intention and towards my happiness. I love everything about my chaotic, philosophic, exaggerating, brilliant dad.
Francis – Everything I know about work ethic I learned from him. Not only is he one of the most hardworking people I know, he is equally generous and charming. Growing up, I really gave him a run for his money. He always pushed me to strive for excellence, and while I didn’t fulfill his dreams for me, he knows that I work my @$$ off to achieve the ones I have for myself. He’s sacrificed a lot to support our family, and for that, I’m eternally grateful.
Victoria – I think it’s pretty cool that I can say my dad is my number one inspiration. I’ve never met anyone who has worked so hard for what he wants, and now that he has his dream job, he comes home smiling every day. That is the kind of life I aspire to build for myself, and it’s rad that my role model is my own parent. On top of that, he is also the funniest person I know.
Nichole – Even though my dad was a bit strict growing up, seriously my curfew was way too early, I know it was and is because he loves us girls. Plus what Dad with 3 daughters wouldn’t be strict! Growing up he was always patient with being the only male in a household of 5, and I think started to enjoy all the shopping trips. He loved coaching us for basketball and karate, and always wanted to be a part of whatever we were doing. He will always see us 3 girls as Daddy’s little girls, even though we are grown, and we will always love him and how he wants to be a part of everything in our lives.
Darby – My dad can do anything and everything with incredible skill and unending dedication. He’ll always be the #1 man in my life. All you other goons don’t stand a chance.
